lifted: franklin family father's day 06.08.08
a couple of weeks ago i posted about Lauren's father's day gift...well, i'm just now getting around to posting the pics from the other father's day shoot i did at the same time. the Franklins. Sarah also works right down the hall from me and had asked to do another "D A D" session for her kids...and it turned out to be soooo much fun. she has an adorable new baby, Lily and her other two kids, John and Maddie...who are a RIOT! these two are a couple of goof balls and have a lot of fun together. they are 1 year and a couple months apart and laugh (and fight) as all brothers and sisters do. there were so many hilarious pictures but i only had time to share a few with y'all. enjoy.
this is the note i received from Sarah on my desk at my day job a couple weeks before father's day
john and maddie decided to throw flowers at each other's faces...hilarious!

I just wanted to thank you agian from the bottom of my heart.
One thing about family photos is that everyone must smile- like it or not. Having a blended family inclusive of tweenagers- and now with a new baby- the last year and a half have been a bit of a challenge. The big kids have always taken pictures for me in the past- but they were just that pictures- posed.
We had such a great time with you, including the big kids- who had so much fun being themselves. You captured what I hoped for- the four of us having a good time, enjoying each other- loving the baby.
That was a great gift for me, not just photographs, but evidence that in an unforced, unposed setting- we can all smile and mean it.
I can't wait to do it again- with the WHOLE family, maybe including the little dogs, too! :)
You are very talented and I am very greatful you took the time to spend with us!
