lifted: me

this past weekend i was blessed with the opportunity to spend some much needed quality time with my amazing and beautiful mother. this past year has seen it's ups and downs for our family but i am constantly reminded of the solid Christian woman my mom truly is.  without her standing strong as a foundational rock i don't know what we'd do.  no matter what is thrown at her, and trust me, she has been hit with some boulders recently, she continues to stand strong, trust in the Lord and exemplifies what it means to live by faith.  she is (in no particular order) a wife, warrior, protector, conqueror, listener, giver, supporter, forgiver, grandmother, and i am so proud to say that she is my mother and my friend.

below is a photo i quickly snapped while on a walk this weekend.  i must say that this is one of my favorite pictures i've shot so far.  i love you so much mom and thank you for supporting and encouraging me on this new creative and life journey.  and thank you for being such a beautiful model!

Oh my Josh...Of course I'm in a puddle of tears and don't feel I deserve all those lovely comments but I'm sure proud to be your mom and friend more than anything else. You are an amazing son! Love you.
